Obituary

Memorial services for Eva Mae George, 87, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Jim Lindstrum officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. George died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, in Plainview. She was born Jan. 4, 1923, in Beaver, Okla., to Lester and Vesta Tiffin. She married James "Aubrey" George on June 20, 1942, in Childress. He died June 19, 2010. She was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include two sons, Roy George of Lubbock and James George of Rogers, Ark.; three sisters, Wynell Williams of Little Elm and Billie Shugart Tiffin and Juanita Jo Tiffin, both of Missoula, Mont.; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
