Garza, Gilberto, Mrs. (Josefia Reyes)

Rosary for Josefia Garza, 62, of Petersburg, will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Friday, March 3, 2006 at the same church with the Rev. Roland Buxkemper officiating. Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.Josefia was born on October 30, 1943 in Raymondville to the late Jose and Gomecinda (Flores) Reyes. On September 12, 1982 she married Gilberto Garza. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2000.She was a homemaker and moved to Petersburg in 1976.Survivors include; two sons; Juan Santos Garza of Ralls, Gilberto Garza, Jr. of Petersburg, Maria Garza of Petersburg and Guadalupe Garza of Valley, four brothers; Guadalupe and Juan Reyes both of Petersburg, Jose Reyes of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Ramon Reyes of Hargill Valley, seven sisters; Terry Reyes of San Benito Valley, Maria Guerrero of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Jesusa Marez of Hargill Valley, Maria Mendosa of Petersburg, Connie Reyna of Floydada, Gomecinda Hinojosa of Ralls, Margarita Valdez of La Grange, five grandchildren; Joshua, Ruben and Jonathan Garza all of Ralls and Miguel and Ramiro Garza both of Petersburg.Serving as pallbearers will be; Jushua Garza, Ruben Garza, Jonathan Garza, Miguel Garza, Marcos Hinojosa and Jose Hinojosa.
