Obituary
Funeral Mass for Higinio Garza, 75, of Lockney, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. John Ohlig, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Garza died at 10:14 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2004, at his residence. He was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Alamo. He lived in Plainview from 1945 to 1959. On Oct. 25, 1948, he married Jesusa Ledesma in Plainview, Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Diana Choffy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sons, Higinio Garza Jr. of Abilene, Antonio Garza of Tyler, Oscar Garza of Tulia and Eduardo Garza of El Paso; a brother, Cruz Garza of Amarillo; two sisters, Matilda Campos of Hale Center and Maria Elena Garza of Riverside, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. One brother is deceased. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel.
