Garza, Gilbert

Funeral Mass for Gilbert Garza, 64, of Petersburg, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in San Lorenzo Catholic Church with the Rev. Roland Buxkemper officiating.

Burial will be in the Petersburg Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the church.

Mr. Garza died Sunday, March 26, 2000, in Covenant Medical Center.

He was born May 26, 1935, in Starr County. He moved to Petersburg from Springlake in 1977. He was a farmer.

On Sept. 12, 1982, he married Josefa Reyes in Petersburg.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Juan S. Garza of Ralls and Gilberto Garza Jr., of Petersburg; two daughters, Maria T. Garza and Guadalupe Garza, both of Petersburg; a brother, Ernest Garza of Hanford, Calif.; three sisters, Estella Cantu and Rafaela Garza, both of Hanford, Calif., and Litty Garza of Brownfield; and five grandchildren
