Obituary

Terry Bruce Garrett, 46, was called to Heaven, Jan. 18, 2015. Terry was born in Tulia, Texas, on Dec. 23, 1968. He grew up in Kress, Texas, where he graduated from Kress High School. He then went on to live in Germany, San Antonio and finally settled in the suburbs of Dallas. Terry was currently living in Little Elm, Texas, and working in Denton as office manager at the North Texas Sticker Station. Terry enjoyed spending time with his children. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help. Terry's life long struggle with diabetes made him sensitive to others in need and pain. Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Foster Garrett. He is survived by three children, Foster Cade, Hannah Braeden and Makenzie Rae of Lewisville, Texas; his father, Bruce Garrett of Plainview, Texas; sisters Penny Greenwood and her husband Cory of Little Elm, Texas, and Cynthia Royall and her husband Rebel of Garden City, Texas; four nephews, one niece and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors, 3605 S.W. Third St., Plainview, Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1613 W. 24th St., Plainview, Texas.
