Obituary

Funeral services for Guillermo "Willie" Garcia, 54, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lemons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ed Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Garcia died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at his residence. He was born July 9, 1955, to Castulo and Saturnina Garcia in Comonfort, Guanajuato, Mexico. He married Carmen Marin on April 21, 1978, in Plainview. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Saturnina Garcia of Austin and Emily Marie Garcia of Austin; one brother, Castulo Garcia Jr. of Plainview; five sisters, Juanita Garcia of Plainview, Ignacia Centeno of Friona, Maria Elena Rodriguez of Grand Rapids, Mich., Remedios Garcia Lucio of Dumas and Louisa Padilla of Plainview; and three grandchildren. His parents are deceased.
