Obituary

Funeral Mass for Antonio Rojas Garcia, 82, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. John Ohlig, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be from 7-8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Garcia died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at his residence. He was born July 5, 1922, in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico. He married Rosa Urbana. She is deceased. Survivors include four daughters, Anita Hernandez of San Antonio, Aida Ramirez and Rosa Montelongo, both of Plainview, and Sylvia Pantoja of Hart; four sons, Hector Garcia, Ismael Garcia, Oscar Garcia and Artemio Garcia, all of Plainview; two brothers, Manuel Garcia and Ephrain Garcia, both of Torreon Coahuila; two sisters, Irma Salazar and Ignacio Medina, both of Torreon Coahuila; 24 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Raul Garcia and Hilario Garcia, also are deceased.
