Obituary

Funeral services for Oralia Garcia, 72, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Garland Street Church of Christ with Russell Harris, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Garcia died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at her residence. She was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Fredrico Rodriguez and Natalia Sanchez Rodriguez. She married Alfredo Garcia in March 1950 in Mexico. She was a longtime member of Garland Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband; six sons, Alfredo Garcia, Armando Garcia and Cosme Garcia, all of Greeley, Colo., Alvaro Garcia of Amarillo, Ramon Garcia of Juarez, Mexico, and Juan Garcia of Plainview; five daughters, Rosa Camacho and Norma Garcia, both of Plainview, and Bertha Corral, Irma Salas and Carmen Medina, all of Juarez, Mexico; one sister, Guadalupe Betancourt of San Antonio; one brother, Eduardo Rodriguez of Juarez, Mexico; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
