Garces, Jesus, Mrs. (Frances)

Funeral Mass for Frances Garces, 81, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholoic Church with the Rev. Gerard Kenney, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Garces died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in Prairie House Living Center.

She was born Nov. 13, 1922, in Teague. She moved to Plainview in 1974 from Bridgeport. She was a homemaker and a Catholic.

On April 2, 1953, she married Jesus Garces in Waco. He died Oct. 10, 1979.

Survivors include three sons, Andy Garces of Alice, Jaimie Garces of Rosharon and Josie Garces of Plainview; two daughters, Rosa Ortiz and Elida Garces, both of Plainview; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
