Funeral Mass for Gilberto Trevino Galvan, 63, will be at noon Saturday in St. Teresa Catholic Church with the Rev. John Smith, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home. Rosary services will be at 7-8 p.m. today in Bartley Memorial Chapel in Plainview. Mr. Galvan died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, in Lubbock Heart Hospital. He was born Feb. 4, 1942, in Anson, to Florencio and Mary Ann Trevino Galvan. He grew up in Anson and Lamesa and moved to Hale Center in 1970, where he farmed. On April 22, 1977, he married Olga Alvarado in Plainview. Mr. Galvan was a Catholic. Survivors include his wife; four sons and daughters-in-law, Willie and Sylvia Ramos and Marcos and Alicia Galvan of Hale Center, Juan Florencio and Leticia Galvan of Hillsboro and Felix and Petra Galvan of Wynnewood, Okla.; eight daughters and sons-in-law, Melda and Ralph Ruiz, Rose and Danny Garcia, Elizabeth and Max Lucero of Hale Center, Diana and Albert Carrion of Plainview, Doris and Bill Mason of Dallas, Rose and Juan Vargas of Grand Prairie, Beatrice and Carlos Nunez of Lago Vista and Maria Olga and Mark Ochoa of Amarillo; four brothers, Mike Galvan and Eligio Galvan of Plainview, Joe Lozano of Anson and Raul Jimenez of Amarillo; eight sisters, Maria Ruiz of Elsa, Lydia Ochoa of Edinburgh, Hortencia Rodriguez of Amarillo, Feliz Cervantez of Lamesa, Helodia Chapa of Plainview, Juanita Gonzales of Broken Arrow, Okla., Eva Galvan of Fort Worth and Louisa Seballos of Abilene; 37 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren
