Wilma Boyd Gallaway, 90, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, in Amarillo. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel in Plainview with the Rev. Woody Jackson officiating. Private burial will be at a later date under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will follow the funeral. Wilma was born March 16, 1920, in Duncan Flat, Texas, to S.L. and Betty Jackson. She was the oldest of eight children and grew up in Olton. She married Grady Boyd on Dec. 18, 1936. They lived in Amarillo, Lubbock and Plainview. Wilma worked at Amarillo National Bank in Amarillo and retired from Hale County State Bank in Plainview. Grady Boyd died Dec. 8, 1994. In 1997 she married Cecil Gallaway in Plainview. Cecil died Oct. 15, 2007. Wilma is survived by a daughter, Jane Boyd Holt of Gulfport, Fla.; a grandson, Cory Condray; and two granddaughters, April Condray and Alicia Condray; two brothers, Woody Jackson and his wife, Jean, of Lubbock and Joe Jackson and his wife, Bonnie, of Amarillo; and a sister, Sybol Henry of Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Grady Boyd and Cecil Gallaway; two brothers, Lester Jackson and S.L. Jackson Jr.; and two sisters, Velma Goyne and Betty Coletti.
