Obituary

Jesus "Jessie" Fuentes, 58, longtime resident of Hale Center, died July 7, 2008, at his residence in Hale Center. No services are set at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center. He was born Oct. 15, 1949, in Waco. He was employed at Shepard Feedlot and later employed with Excel for 24 years until he became disabled. His hobby was doing mechanic work on cars. He is survived by his mother, Maria Gonzales of Sunnyside, Wash.; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Joe Gonzalez, Angie Gonzalez, Peter Gonzalez Jr., Juan Uribe, Connie Uribe, Seguardo Uribe, Susie Uribe, Gilbert Uribe and Cynthia Uribe, all of Sunnyside, Wash. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Natividad H. and Pilar Gonzalez.
