Obituary

Funeral services for Guadalupe Flores, 64, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Margarito Triana officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Flores died Saturday, July 3, 2010, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born Dec. 31, 1945, to Polycarpio and Lucinda Madrid in Puerta de Luna, N.M. She married Ramon Flores on July 18, 1972, in Plainview. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Alex Nava and Billy Nava, both of Plainview, and Albert Nava of Lubbock; three daughters, Irma Ladesma of Lubbock and Laura Gonzales and Norma Flores, both of Plainview; eight brothers, Gregorio Madrid of Dallas, Enacio Madrid, Ricardo Madrid and Aurelio Madrid, all of Denver, Rosendo Madrid and Andres Madrid, both of Amarillo, and Policarpio Albert Madrid and Anastacio Madrid, both of Lubbock; eight sisters, Romana Vega of Lubbock, Julia Mason of Sacramento, Calif.; Lupe Flores of Plainview, Luisa Ballostros, Odilia Madrid and Martha Rocha, all of Amarillo, Rosalia Madrid of Hereford and Christina Presas of Amarillo; and 23 grandchildren.
