Obituary

Funeral Mass for Maria Flores, 65, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Reynaldo Reyes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Flores died at 3:44 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, in Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born Oct. 11, 1938, in Abernathy. On March 2, 1958, she married Ramon Flores in Post. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Elia Reyes of Dodge City, Kan., Carol Romero of Ulysses, Kan., and Mickey Rodriguez of Tonkowa, Okla.; two sons, Amandeo Flores and LeRoy Flores, both of Plainview; four brothers, Edward Asebedo and Luis Asebedo, both of Garden City, Kan., Pedro Asebedo of Syracuse, Kan., and Frank Asebedo of Dodge City; four sisters, Elvire McCloud of Dumas, Celestina Ybarra of Plainview, Eusebia Ellis of Lexington, Neb., and Isedora Garcia of Garden City; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A son, Domingo Flores, and her parents, Juan and Petra Asebedo, are deceased.
