Flores, B.J.

PETERSBURG ? Funeral Mass for B.J. Flores, 20, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Louis Dussan officiating.

Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery by Rix Funeral Directors of Lubbock.

Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight in the church. Another rosary was said Saturday night at W.W. Rix Chapel.

Mr. Flores died Thursday, May 6, 1999.

He was born Sept. 8, 1979, in Plainview and was a lifelong resident of Petersburg and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He graduated from Shallowater High School in 1997 and was a student at Texas Tech University.

Surviving are his mother, Angela Flores of Seattle, Wash.; his father Cooper Ellison of Petersburg; two brothers, Michael and Christopher Flores, both of Seattle; and sister, Marissa Flores of Seattle; his grandparents, Alfredo Flores and Doug Ellison, both of Petersburg, and Pat Ellison of Plainview; his great-grandmother, Ginger Ellison of Petersburg; and uncles and aunts, John and Serena Flores of Lubbock, Artemio and Gloria Flores of San Antonio and Alfred and Ophelia Flores of Oklahoma City.
