Obituary

Memorial services for Jean FitzGerald, 91, of Lubbock will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at First United Methodist Church Chapel in Plainview with Dr. Max Browning officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bartley Funeral Home. Jean was a member and president of the Hospital Auxiliary "Pink Ladies," the Plainview Symphony Guild, the Knife and Fork Club and was also a member of Delta Delphin Study Club and the First United Methodist Church in Plainview. She sang in the Christian Church Choir and enjoyed going to all her grandkids' ballgames. She is survived by one daughter, Pat Blankenship and husband Wendel; granddaughter, Kari Byrd; great-grandchildren, Leah Byrd and Kody Byrd; grandson, Greg Blankenship and wife Twyla; great-grandchildren, Amber and Kyle Wooldridge, Cape and Shepherd, Brandi and Keith Toogood, Graham and Harper, and Camron Blankenship; granddaughter, Lori Cate and husband Greg; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Destanie Ferrell, Rylie Ann, Justin and Korrie Ferrell, and Brynlee; one son, Jim FitzGerald and wife Judy; grandson, Jamie and Julie FitzGerald; great-grandchildren, Daylan and Kaiden; granddaughter, Amy FitzGerald and great-grandchild, Riley.
