Finney, Clinton (Gene)

Graveside services for Clinton ? Gene? Finney, 72, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview with the Rev. Robert Malcom officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Home.

Mr. Finney died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, in Spur.

He was born Oct. 30, 1929, in Hale County, the son of Belton and Dovie Newton Finney. He served with the U.S. Navy and was a farmer. He lived in Plainview until moving to Spur in 1992.

On June 16, 1969, he married Ladonna Gordon in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; three sons. Jerald Clinton Finney of Austin, Ronnie Eugene Finney of Springtown and Jerry Lee Dodgin of Plainview; four daughters, Gayla Pertuset of Washington, Kathy L. Couch of Plainview, Connie Clendenin of Las Vegas, Nev., and Arliene Bailey of Huntsville; three brothers, Alton and Tex Finney, both of Fort Worth, and Richard Finney of Tulia; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren.
