Finney, Billie Jack

Funeral services for Billie Jack Finney, 65, of Fort Worth, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Bartley-Silva Memorial Chapel with the Bruce Baird officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.

Mr. Finney died Jan. 1, 2000, at his residence.

He was born July 7, 1934, in Center Plains, the son of the late Belton Calvert and Dovie Finney. He was a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service for several years and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip W. Finney of Indianapolis, Ind., and Bryan K. Finney of Irving; four brothers, Alton W. Finney of Midlothian, ?Gene" Clint E. Finney of Spur, C.W. ?Tex? Finney of Fort Worth and Richard A. Finney of Tulia.

Three brothers, James A. Finney, O?Dell W. Finney and O.R. ?Red? Finney, are deceased.

The family suggests memorials to Tulia Central Church of Christ Youth Fund.

The family will receive friends at noon Saturday at the Far East Restaurant in Plainview.
