Obituary

Funeral services for Mildred N. Ferrell, 93, of Muleshoe, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Seth Ward Baptist Church in Plainview with the Rev. Jim Ritter, pastor, and Dr. Stacy Conner, pastor of First Baptist Church in Muleshoe, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mrs. Ellis died Friday, June 18, 2004, in Lubbock. She was born Sept. 16, 1910, in Bonita and married Doyle Lee Ferrell in Plainview in June 1930. He died July 29, 1978. Mrs. Ferrell, a longtime resident of Plainview and homemaker, moved to Muleshoe in June 2003. She was a member of Seth Ward Baptist Church where she was in the Survivors Club. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are three sons, Edward Ferrell of Granbury, Kenneth Ferrell of Greenfield, Okla. and Joe Ferrell of Capitan, N.M.; four daughters, Eloise Misso of Fort Worth, Elinor Yerby of Muleshoe, Billie Faye Lewis of Gallup, N.M. and Doylene Moore of Clyde; 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. A brother, George Snodgrass, and a grandson, Carl Misso, are deceased.
