Janice Yvonne Fariss of Lockney,TX, died April 12, 1969 in Ruidoso New Mexico. She was born April 1, 1954 in Tulia TX, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Fariss.

Miss Fariss, a freshman at Lockney High School, was a member of the Longhorn Band, Future Homemakers of America and the First Baptist Church.

She was survived by her parents, a brother and one sister.
