Obituary

Funeral services for Roger Farias, 48, of Amarillo, will be at 4 p.m. today in Lemons Memorial Chapel. Cremation arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Farias died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, in Plainview. He was born Sept. 1, 1957, to Eloy and Isabel Vallin Farias. He served in the United States Army and was a carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Lupe Garcia of Amarillo; two sons, Eric of Austin and Christopher of Arkansas; a stepson and stepdaughter, Aaron DeLeon and Vanessa DeLeon of Amarillo; his parents; three brothers, Eloy of Plainview, Jackie of Greenwood and Carlos of Kentucky; and two sisters, Yvonne Pena and Maria DeLeon, both of Plainview. Two brothers, Rodolfo and Roberto, and a sister, Linda, are deceased. Visitation was from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Lemons Funeral Home. Plainview Daily Herald -- Nov. 11, 2005
