Services for Ida Beth Evans, 92, of Abernathy, Texas, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, in the Abernathy Church of Christ with Randall Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy. The family will gather at Abell Funeral Home from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Friday to receive friends. The family suggests memorials to the Texas Boys Ranch, Box 5665, Lubbock, TX 79408 or the Children's Home of Lubbock, Box 2824, Lubbock, TX 79408. Mrs. Evans died Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Lubbock, Texas.
