Funeral services for Cruz G. Estrada, 92, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Alfredo Martinez, deacon, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Bartley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Estrada died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Corpus Christi to Guadalupe and Francisca Garcia. She married Jesus T. Estrada in 1938 in Corpus Christi. Survivors include five sons and four daughters-in-law, Don and Maggie Estrada of Corpus Christi, Jesse Jr. and Juanita Estrada of Andrews, Erasmo and Janie Estrada of Plainview and Juan Jose and Ramona Estrada and Danny Estrada of San Antonio; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Francis and Johnny Rodriquez of Quanah, Mary Elizabeth and Tomas Ayala of Corpus Christi, Rosemary Nunez and Rita and Alfredo Martinez of Plainview and Lupe and Alberto Gutierrez of Amarillo; three brothers, Jose Garcia, Lupe Garcia and Juan Garcia, all of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Apitasia Constilla and Amelia Gonzales, both of Corpus Christi; 41 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
