Obituary

Erasmo "Mo" Estrada 63, of Plainview went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sept. 17, 2014. A celebration of life service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow the service in Plainview Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today, Sept. 19, 2014, at the funeral home. Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Estrada was born on Feb. 13, 1951, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Jesus and Cruz (Garcia) Estrada. Mr. Estrada has spent the last 34 years with the love of his life, Janie. He spent his life welding and was employed by M&M Welding. Mr. Estrada loved gardening, collecting antiques and birdhouses, and he enjoyed going to the casinos. Mr. Estrada served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents and three sisters. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Janie; children, Miranda Lynn Estrada (Randy Leal), Amanda Lynn Estrada (Jason Martinez), Henry Pe?a Jr. (Jen), Monica Castro (Alex), Veronica Hernandez (Luis) and Priscilla Estrada. He is also survived by eight siblings, Don Estrada (Maggie), Chavela Ayala (Tomas), Rose Marie Nunez, Jesse Estrada Jr. (Juanita), Rita Martinez (Alfredo), Joe Estrada (Ramona), Lupe Gutierrez (Albert) and Danny Estrada.
