Obituary

Funeral Mass for Felix R. Espinosa Sr., 85, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Hale Center. Burial will follow in Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at the church. Mr. Espinosa died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, in Hale Center. He was born March 31, 1925, in Cameron to Ascencion and Paula Rangel Espinosa. He married Teresa Mojica on Dec. 28, 1941, in Calvert. He worked as a farmer until his retirement. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Hale Center. Survivors include his wife; six sons, Julio Espinosa Sr., Ben Espinosa, Felix Espinosa Jr. and Jessie Espinosa, all of Hale Center, Fidel Espinosa of Poteet and Freddy Espinosa of Plainview; nine daughters, Timotea Garza, Mary Jane Balderras, Teresa Zamora and Mary Lou Garcia, all of Hale Center, Rosa Nava, Connie Plasencio, Guadalupe Bueno and Rachael Espinosa, all of Plainview, and Maria Felix Perez of Amarillo; 52 grandchildren; 109 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. His parents; two sons, Felix Espinosa II and Margarito Espinosa; 10 grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Maria Luisa Espinosa, are deceased.
