Obituary

Amy Jo Erwin passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at her daughter's home in Mingus, Texas. Amy was a longtime Plainview resident who has resided in Stephenville, Texas, the past 10 years. She was a former member of Bethel Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church in Plainview. Amy was born Aug. 12, 1939, in Direct, Texas. She was the daughter of Eugenia and Buck Erwin, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Renae and Raymond Rich of Minges, Texas; and two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tavi Erwin of Seguin, Texas, and Douglas and Elaine Erwin of Florence, Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Raymond Rich Jr., Christy Carnes, Chad Rich, Crimson Rich, Faith Erwin, Luke Erwin and Kadi Erwin; and six great-grandchildren, Christopher Watkins, Jonathan Rich, J.T. Rich, Dakota Hall, David Rich and Jason Rich. Her brothers and sisters are Charlie Erwin, Rose Mary Sheppard, Thomas Erwin and Roger Erwin. She is also survived by an aunt, two special cousins, four nephews, three nieces and many friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Erwin; grandson, James Raymond Hall; and brother, Jackie Erwin, A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, May 5 at Victory Baptist Church, 745 FM 2303, Pigeon Road, Stephenville, TX 76401.
