Obituary

Funeral services for Allene "Allie" Ervine, 63, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Friday at United Baptist Church with the Rev. Jesse Hooper officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A wake will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ervine died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, in Lubbock. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1965. She attended Emmanuel Church of God in Christ. Survivors include her mother, Alberta Nails of Plainview; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Jackie Ervine and Pamela Jackson, both of Amarillo, Michelle and Ricky White of Tulia and Synora and Paul Davis of Plainview; a son and daughter-in-law, Daron and Danielle Ervine of Plainview; three brothers, Charles Nails of Plainview, Mike Nails of Casa Grand, Ariz., and Leonard Nails of Fort Worth; three sisters, Faye Deloney of Fort Worth, Shirley Winfrey of Lawton, Okla., and Cynthia Ray of Plainview; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
