Obituary

Services for Jermey Bryan Ellena, 31, of Plainview will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Garland Street Church of Christ with Steve Gauntt officiating and J.W. Hamby assisting. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Ellena died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, in Crosbyton. He was born Sept. 19, 1979, in Lockney to Anthony and Debbie Ellena. He graduated from Plainview High School in 2000. He worked for Aaron's Rentals and was a cook at Rockin' R Steak House and Furr's. He was a member of Garland Street Church of Christ. Survivors include his fianc?, Ashley Hill of Plainview; his parents, Rodney and Debbie Hearn of Plainview; a daughter, Skyler D'Nae Ellena of Plainview; three brothers, Brendon Hearn and Allen Hearn of Plainview and Steven Hearn of Denver; four sisters, Heather Barcheers of Plainview, Amber Machado of Dougherty, Ashley DiIacova of Michigan and Tina Hill of Denver; and his grandparents, Waylon and Joy Johnson of Plainview. His father, Anthony "Andy" Ellena; and his grandparents, Tony and Rosie Ellena, Doris Hearn and Helen Vaughn, are deceased.
