Obituary

Funeral services for Glenda Fay Elledge, 66, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Joe Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Garden by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Elledge died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, in Lubbock. She was born June 27, 1942, in Josephine to Clarence Grady Morton and Avis Fay Pope Morton. She graduated from Lubbock High in 1962. She married Arthur Ray Elledge on Nov. 16, 1962, in Lubbock. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; four sons and four daughters-in-law, Curtis and Barbara Elledge of Edna and Carl and Meredith Elledge, Darrell and Janie Elledge, and Allen and Jane Elledge, all of Plainview; one daughter, CaSondra Elledge of Plainview; four brothers, Robert Morton of Amarillo, Dickie Morton of Seminole, Montie Morton of Emery and Carey Morton of Victoria; and three sisters, Allane Archer of Lockney, Debra Tolliver of Ganado and Barbara Floyd of Edna. Her parents and a brother, Ronnie Morton, are deceased.
