Obituary

Funeral services for Zora Lee "Doll" Dunn, 52, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2005, in First Christian Church with Elder Russell Wise, pastor of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home. A wake service will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2005, at Emmanuel Church of God in Christ. Mrs. Dunn died Saturday, July 9, 2005, at her residence. She was born Sept. 7, 1952 in Plainview to Johnny and Bennie Howard. Mrs. Dunn grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School and Plainview Business College. She worked for Excel for 28 years. Mrs. Dunn was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister and took pride in coaching her children and grandchildren in sports. She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Dewayne Howard and Marcus Mooney Dunn, both of Plainview; two daughters, Tijuana Ranae Howard of Plainview and Roslynn Rochea Dunn of Lewisville; one brother, Bonnie Cofer of Seattle, Wash.; three sisters, Barbara Nell Malone, Gloria Guy and Martha Carr, all of Plainview; three grandchildren, Amanda Kay Richards, Avysh Jae Hervey and Martranae Monique Wooley, all of Plainview; two very special friends, Barbara Curry and Josephine Springer, both of Plainview, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard Cofer and Paul Cofer, and one sister, Mary Ru
