Obituary

Funeral services for Lois Duncan, 86, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with Gary Stennett of Plainview officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Duncan died at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, at Mangold Memorial Hospital in Lockney. She was born Aug. 15, 1915, in Ardmore, Okla. She married Arlie L. Duncan on March 17, 1962, in Tulia. He died Aug. 15, 1992. She was raised in the Sterley and Lockney area. A nurse, she received her LVN in 1948 and was employed by Lockney General Hospital for 32 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include three sons, Norman Paschal and Wayne Paschal of Plainview and Billy Paschal of Holbrook, Ariz.; one sister, Verna Mae Clements of New Braunfels; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Her first husband, Fred Paschal, died in 1959.
