Funeral services for Oleta Dulaney, 79, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Dean McNamara, interim pastor and chaplain of VistaCare Family Hospice, and the Rev. Gary Smith, pastor of First Christian Church in Canyon, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dulaney died at 8:37 a.m. Sunday, March 5, 2000, in Plainview.

She was born April 7, 1920, in Plainview where she grew up and graduated high school. She lived in Plainview until World Was II when she moved to San Antonio and worked at Kelly Field. After the war, she moved back to Plainview.

She was a member of First Christian Church since 1934.

On June 23, 1937, she married Norman Dulaney in Plainview.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Gayland Pitman of Canyon; a brother, Milton Mangum of Los Angeles, Calif.; and a sister, Fontilla Chiara of Peraluma, Calif.

The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
