Dudley, Homer Doyle

Graveside services for Daisy Dudley, 77, and her husband, Homer Doyle Dudley, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Plainview Cemetery with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor at College Heights Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dudley died at 4:44 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2001, in Covenant Medical Center.

Mr. Dudley died early today, Wednesday, March 21, 2001, in Amarillo.

Mrs. Dudley was born Aug. 20, 1923, in Honey Grove. Mr. Dudley was born Oct. 29, 1923, in Carrie. They were married Jan. 9, 1961, in Clovis, N.M.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nellie and Thomas Mayberry of Plainview; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Johnny and Toni Leatherwood and Charlie and Donice Leatherwood, all of Plainview; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dudley also is survived by five sisters, Jimmie Crabtree of Muleshoe, Lanora Pierson of Dumas, Alma Lee Pierson, address unknown, Dora Biggerstaff and Lurine Dudley, all of Plainview.

A son, Glen Leatherwood, a grandson, Jacob Leatherwood, and a great-granddaughter, Marka Breann Bayley, are deceased.
