Douglas, Shelby Bruce, Mrs. (Helen Huckabay)
Funeral services for Helen Douglas, 69, of Plainview, will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Border, pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Douglas died at 1:05 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 1998, at St. Mary Hospital in Lubbock.
She was born May 27, 1928, in Floydada. She married Shelby Bruce Douglas Jan. 12, 1946, in Clovis, N.M. He died Sept. 12, 1985.
Mrs. Douglas moved to Plainview in 1944. She moved to Wolfforth in 1987.
She was a member of Southside Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Kingston of Wolfforth, Karen Wood of Burleson and Barbara Fowler of Floydada; three sons, Robert Douglas of Burleson, Tommy Douglas of Plainview and Donald Douglas of Lubbock; one sister Delores Lafone of Newport; one brother, Ernest Huckabay of Demming N.M.; 21 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
