Obituary

Funeral services for Frankye Jean Douglas, 75, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church Family Life Chapel with Windell Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mrs. Douglas died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006. She was born July 3, 1931, in Plainview to Margaret Loper and Chester Pass. She married Robert S. Douglas on Aug. 27, 1949, in Plainview. She was a member of First Baptist Church, S. Bees and retired from Hale County State Bank. Survivors include her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Becky Jo Douglas of Plainview and Gary and Linda Douglas of Canyon; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sherri Lynn Elkins of Amarillo and Cathy and Kevin Pritchard of Stamford; one sister, Shirley Ames of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
