Obituary

Funeral services for Odis Everett Dorman, 69, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Wood-Dunning Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mr. Dorman died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, in Lubbock. He was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Rush Springs, Okla., to Odie Dorman and Ollie Mae McMinn Dorman. He attended Plainview schools. He married Kay King on Aug. 19, 1961, in Plainview. He worked as an electrician, an air conditioning repairman and a truck driver. He moved to Slaton where he lived for the last 10 years. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Kimberly Renee and Milton Neatherlin of Odessa, and Kristy and Clay Hutchins of McKinney; one sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Hurshel Harston of Plainview; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
