Services for James Dale Dollar, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hale Center Church of Christ with Charles Cook, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center. Mr. Dollar died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, in Hale Center. He was born Nov. 25, 1936, in Lockney to Harrell Dollar and Lucille H. Foraker Dollar. He moved to Hale Center as a young boy with his family from Lockney and in 1964 moved to the Dallas area. He owned and operated Preston Royal Barbers in Dallas for 30 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Lakepointe Church in Rockwall. He moved back to Hale Center in June 2004 to help care for his mother. He married LaJuana Ritchey in 1956 and married Sharon Regina Dollar in 1985. Survivors include his former wife, Sharon of Allen; one son, H. Blane Dollar of Greenville; three daughters, Kim Hutton of Sarasota, Fla., Lesha Zimmerman of Howe and Shelly Hall of Early; his mother, Lucille H. Foraker of Hale Center; and six grandchildren. A brother, Donald Glen Dollar, and two grandchildren, David James Hall and Cliffy Taylor Dollar, are deceased.
