Diffey, James Thomas

Arrangements were completed this morning at the Roy G. Woods Funeral Home in Plainview for services for James T. Diffey, 27 of Plainview, who was killed at 1:15 a.m. Sunday when his 1935 Ford model pickup collided with a bobtail truck occupied by three negroes on Highway 62 about a mile north of on U.S. 62 in Terry County Sunday. Diffey, who had been working: on a housing project in El Paso, was believed en route to Plainview to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Diffey. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Clark of El Paso and Miss Maxine Diffey of Plainview, and a brother, Paul Diffey of El Paso.

Services for James T. Diffey, 27 of Plainview, who was killed Sunday Morning when his pickup truck collided with a bobtail truck occupied by three negroes on Highway 62 about a mile north of Meadow, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Woods Funeral home chapel in Plainview. Dean Brookshire, Church of Christ minister, will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery there.
