Demorest, Rex

No funeral services are planned for Rex Demorest, 81, who died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001.

Cremation was by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Demorest was born May 17, 1920, in Clarindon Township, Mich. He married Anna Morrison on June 16, 1940, in Lyma, Ohio.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and moved to Plainview in 1977. He worked for Texas Instruments in Lubbock and was a tool and die maker. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Calvin of Plainview, Rex Jr., of Colegate Okla., and William of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
