DeLuna, Josue (Jody)

Funeral services for Josue "Jody" DeLuna, 29, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Longoria officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. today in Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Mr. DeLuna died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, in Covenant Hospital.

He was born Dec. 1, 1973, in Lockney. He attended Plainview High School and was co-pastor of Templo Gallilea.

On June 8, 2002, he married Sonya DeLuna in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; his parents, the Rev. Pablo and Rosa DeLuna of Plainview; three brothers, Gabriel DeLuna, Richard DeLuna and Robert DeLuna, all of Plainview; and his grandparents, Dominga and Santiago Gonzales of Plainview.

Grandparents David and Augustina Palacios are deceased.
