Obituary

Funeral Mass for Josefina Delgado, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Delgado died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at Covenant Hospital Lubbock. She was born Feb. 23, 1939, in La Paloma to Uvaldo and Isabel Guzman. She married Elfego M. Delgado on July 14, 1978, in Raymondville. She was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Albert Leos of Spring and Jessie Delgado of Amarillo; one daughter, Linda Leos of Plainview; five brothers, Roman Guzman of Lubbock, George Guzman of San Diego, Calif., and Pete Guzman, Martin Guzman, and Johnny Guzman, all of Raymondville; four sisters, Luisa Delgado and Margarita Alamillo, both of Raymondville, Maria Espinoza of Harlingen and Candelaria Garza of Fort Worth; and six grandchildren. Her parents; one daughter, Estella Leos; and one brother, Uvaldo Guzman Jr., are deceased.
