Funeral Mass for Jayden Josiah DeLaPaz, 3, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Bartley Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park's Babyland under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. today and a rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Jayden passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, in Plainview. He was born on June 11, 2009, in Plainview. He is survived by his mother Adrianna Salinas and Jacob Gloria of Plainview; his father Omar Lee DeLaPaz of Plainview; brother Eli Xavier DeLaPaz of Plainview; sister Mercedez Lizet DeLaPaz of Plainview; maternal grandparents Joe Salinas Jr. of Plainview and Brenda and Domingo Camargo of Plainview; paternal grandparents Jerry and Janie DeLuna of Plainview and Amy Acosta and Edward Garcia of Plainview; maternal great-grandparents Lupe and Juan Castillo of Louisiana, Joe and Hope Salinas of Plainview, Felipe and Lupe Flores of Plainview; paternal great-grandfather Eloy DeLaPaz, Sr. of Raymondville, uncles Joe III and Jamie Salinas of Plainview, Rolando Acosta of Norfolk, Va., Rogelio Acosta and Erik Acosta of Plainview; aunt Kimberly Salinas of Plainview; great-aunts and uncles Eloy DeLaPaz Jr., Alma DeLaPaz and Santos Chavez, David DeLaPaz and Talana Allen and Jerry Lee DeLuna, all of Plainview and Monica DeLaPaz of Fort Worth.
