Funeral services for Barbara Ann Davis, 73, of Plain?view will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church with Dr. Max Browning officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Davis died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, in Lubbock. She was born April 28, 1938, in Memphis, Texas, to Vernon and Ann Pirkle. She married Harold Davis Sr. in 1959 in Pampa. She was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include her husband; two sons, J.D. Davis of Liberty Hill and Glen Davis of Lubbock; one brother, Joe Pirkle of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Her parents and a son, Harold Davis Jr., are deceased. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Lubbock, 1102 Slide Road, Lubbock, TX 79416.
