Davis, Bob Lee

Funeral services for Bob Davis, 78, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Davis officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Davis died at 6:21 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at his residence after a lengthy illness.

He was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Henderson City and married Queen Esther ?Quinnie? Ross in 1942 in Frankston. He had lived in Plainview for 52 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Frankston.

Surviving are four daughters, Esther and Ruby Brown, both of Dalhart and Vester and Bobbie Wilson, both of Amarillo, and four sons, Henry, Lee and Jason Davis, all of Seattle, Wash., and J.D. of Abilene; 29 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
