Obituary

Funeral services for Una Mae Davis, 88, of Hale Center will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Hale Center with Dr. Carrol Green officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Callahan County. She married Arvil W. Davis. He died Dec. 14, 1993. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hale Center. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Arvil and Donna Davis and Ron and Nancy Davis, all of Lubbock; one daughter, Deborah Roller of Wolfforth; one sister, Jean Johnson of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
