Obituary

Funeral services for Julia Garcia Davila, 89, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Manuel Rendon officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Davila died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, at her residence. She was born Feb. 13, 1917, to Valentin Garcia and Concepcion Garza in Tamaulipas, Mexico. She married Rafael Davila in 1950 in Alice. They later moved to Plainview. She was a member of Templo Galilea Pentecostal Church. Survivors include five sons, Israel Barrera of Los Angeles, Dionel Davila and Demetrio Davila, both of San Angelo and David Davila and Dario Davila, both of Plainview; four daughters, Irma Villarreal, Delmira Santos and Dalia Fuentes, all of Plainview, and Delia Garcia of Fort Worth; 27 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, two brothers and six sisters are deceased
