Obituary

Funeral services for Isabel G. Davila, 84, will be at noon Monday at Elim Worship Center with the Rev. Guadalupe Munoz Sr. officiating. A celebration service was held Saturday, and another will be at 6 p.m. today at Elim Worship Center. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Davila was born Nov. 5, 1923, in Pearsall to Librado and Margarita Gutierrez. She was a homemaker, gardener and a member of Elim Worship Center for many years. Survivors include four sons, Roberto G. Davila, Praxedez G. Davila and Ismael G. Davila, all of Uvalde, and Librado G. Davila of Spearman; six daughters, Alicia D. Rodriguez, Margarita D. Pulido, Paula D. Brace and Elizabeth D. Munoz, all of Plainview, Yolanda D. Cortez of Lubbock and Dominga D. Cuellar of Lockney; one brother, Dionicio Gutierrez of California; 41 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. Her husband, Domingo Davila; one daughter, Delia Davila; five brothers, Librado, Jeronimo, Julian, Biviano and Jesus Gutierrez; two sisters, Paula and Vicenta Gutierrez; and three grandchildren are deceased.
