Obituary

Funeral services for Domingo A. Davila, 80, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Elim Worship Center with the Rev. Guadalupe Munoz, officiating. Burial will be at Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Davila died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, in Lubbock. He was born April 20, 1924, in Bishop, Texas. He married Isabel Gutierrez on June 26, 1943, in Valle Hermosa, Tamp, Mexico. Survivors include his wife of 61 years Isabel Davila; four sons, Roberto G. Davila and Praxedez G. Davila, both of Uvalde, Ismael G. Davila of Cotulla and Librado G. Davila of Plainview; six daughters, Alicia D. Rodriguez, Margarita D. Pulido and Elizabeth D. Mu?oz, all of Plainview, Yolanda D. Cortez and Paula D. Brace, both of Lubbock, and Dominga D. Cuellar of Lockney; one brother, Rodolfo Davila of San Antonio; 41 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. One daughter, Delia Davila; five brothers, and one sister are deceased.
