Daugherty, Elmer William (Bud), Mrs. (Bessie J. Feeler)

Funeral services for Bessie J. Daugherty, 80, of Scottsburg, Ind., former Abernathy resident, were at 7 p.m. Saturday at Stewart Funeral Home in Scottsburg with the Rev. J. B. Blythe officiating,

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. today in Abernathy Funeral Home of Abernathy.

Mrs. Daugherty died Thursday, May, 10, 2001, at the Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.

She was born on April 23, 1921, to Rawl and Sara Jane (Smith) Feeler in Scott County, Ind.

She was a homemaker and member of the Vienna Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Republic of Scott County.

She married Elmer W. Daugherty on Aug. 12, 1946. He is deceased.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Jamison of Scottsburg, Ind., one sister, Thelma Feeler of Scottsburg, and one grandchild.
