Dannheiser, Virginia Collins Smith
Funeral services for Virginia Dannheiser, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with J.W. Hamby officiating, assisted by Karl King, minister of Garland Street Church of Christ.
Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.
She died Sunday, March 18, 2001, in Prairie House Living Center.
She was born July 7, 1914, in Running Water. She graduated from Plainview High School and attended Drawns Business College in Lubbock. She worked for the telephone company and retired from Central Plains Hospital.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Candee Smith of Plainview; three sisters, Maureen Kirkpatrick of Plainview, Edna and Charles Quisenberry of Austin and Alvina and Bill Taylor of Onalaska; five nephews; two nieces; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to VistaCare Hospice of Plainview.
